Petersfield Fireworks 3rd November 2007 (1)Thousands flocked to Bell Hill recreation ground and enjoyed an amazing display of fireworks organised by Petersfield Round Table.
The Teddy Bears Picnic Haslemere 2007 (1)For the second year Delta held a Teddy Bears Picnic at Lion Green in Haslemere,aimed at the young at heart and in association with the Haslemere Food Festival 2007 once more proved a great success.
Butserfest September 2007 (1)The very first music festival organised by the East Hampshire District Council especially for young people and young at heart across the area took plase in the picturesque setting of The Queen Elizabeth Park nestling in the valley below Butser Hill. The crew from Delta was there from the beginning to the end and Keith Woodhouse Nathan James Chas Bryne and David Way took to the stage to compere the event that had some amazing local and upcoming bands culminating with the top of the bill Elliot Minor .
Weyfest Music Festival 2007 (3)On the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September, the annual Weyfest Music Festival took place at the Rural Life Centre in Tilford. Several well known backs from years turned up to perform live on stage. Nathan James and Jan Ashley from Delta were both in attendance over the weekend.
Gig in the Garden (3)On a glorious summers evening hundreds of people flocked to the centre of Liphook for the 3rd annual Gig in the Garden to experience 6 local bands playing for 6 hours in the gardens of the Royal Anchor. Ben and the rest of the crew from BCL Technical had worked tirelessly for days to ensure the event was a success and hundreds of pounds was raised for Macmillan Cancer Care another great event in the village the next big one is the carnival in October.
Agoonoree Scout Camp (4)On Friday 3rd August Delta FMs Charlie Bradford went to visit the Agoonoree Scout camp who had set up for the week at Treloar School. They were going out all over Hampshire and these excited youngsters were off to see a Chinook at the R.A.F base Odiham.
National Fishing Week comes to North West Sussex July 2007 (1)Throughout week commencing 21st July 2007 the enviroment agency presented a number of roadshows and demonstrations of fishing throughout the country. On Wednesday 25th a roadshow was set up at the coloured ponds in Rake. The event was hosted by Kenny and Kendra of MBK Leisures who operate a number of fisheries in East Hampshire South West Surrey and NW Sussex. The weather was dreadful and typical of summer 2007 but that did not deter 74 people coming to try their hand with a rod and line . The organisers (www.mbkleisures.co.uk) were delighted with the turnout especially as many who attended found out about it listening to Delta!
The Taro Leisiure Centre Charity Open Day (3)On Saturday 14th July David and Charlie went to Taro Leisure Centre's for their Charity Open Day, we parked the mini and set up our special game. We decided to get invloved with the activities and bought a special fishing game, rather than regular ducks, the kids had to try and fish the CD's out of the paddling pool. It proved very successful, with everyone winning something. There was lots to do including a bouncy castle, lucky dip, and a range of stalls.All money raised by Delta was donated to the NSPCC.
Alton Food Festival (5)After the Taro Open Day, David and Charlie went off to the Alton Food Fair. We parked the mini in the High Street and set of to sample some of the delights. Local food and drink producers were out in force, and we enjoyed many of the delicious products on offer and stopping to chat to locals.
Workday Request Winners (7)Every workday request received and read out during July Monday -Friday 10-5 go into a weekly draw for a working day lunch provided by The Cutting Edge Sandwich Company in Alton.The lunch includes a a selection of luxury sandwiches,pastries,fresh fruit,juice and water.
Alton Show 2007 (11)On Sunday 8th July we attended for the annual Alton Show.Many thousands attended and large queues formed on the A31 out of Alton towards the show ground. and at the main entrance. The show was packed with all kinds of attractions including tasty local delicacies,the Herald motor show.many farm animals and country themed stalls, the main arena shows finished with a soectaculer parachute jump.It was a fun day out for all the family with almost perfect weather.
Haslemere Make a Day of it Event (3)On the final day of June all the stops were pulled out by traders in Haslemere, Weyhill and Beacon Hill to make a day of it with entertainment and special offers in some of the shops in the area. David and Tracy visited all 3 areas and had a great time finding more out about what Haslemere and the surrounding areas had to offer despite the inclement weather they both had alot of fun and met some interesting charachters.!
Bordon Garrison Party in the Park (7)Sunday 1st July saw the annual Party in the Park which was held at the Bordon Garrison Field. Delta FM were in attendance and both the team and the crowd had great fun with live ocal bands performing on the stage.
Greatham Funday (1)Saturday 23rd June we were out and about at the Greatham Fun Day the weather just about held out the crowds were entertained with arena events including a dog show and irish country dancing. Nathan James and David Way joined in the fun of the day and spent loads of money at the stalls and enjoyed the talent show held in the village hall.
Buriton School Fete (4)On Saturday 16th June the Buriton Recreation was opened up to host the Buriton School Fete . David Way and the Barons Mini turned up to join in the fun . David opened the fete and judged the childrens fancy dress competion ..the weather could have been kinder but a good time was had by all who atteneded.
Lidba Charity Bike Ride 2007 (8)Another hot sunny Sunday morning in June,over 1,000 riders took to the roads of Hampshire Surrey and Sussex. Delta FMs Mark Stanley was on the mic and made sure everyone was hept in touch throught the day at the main stand
Paul Redman Goes Fishing (6)Delta FM's Paul Redman was invited to spend an evening at a junior course fishing match run by local organisers MBK Leisure.
Nathan James at Go-Ape (0)Delta FM's Drivetime Presenter Nathan James went along to the new tree-top adventure - "Go-Ape" - at Alice Holt Woodland Park.
St. Bartholomews School May Fair (3)Delta FM's David Way and Tracy Kemp were in attendance at the St.Bartholomews School May Fair in Haslemere, on Saturday 19th May.
Marks and Spencers Simply Food - Alton and Petersfield (4)Nathan James was at the opening of the brand new Marks and Spencers - "Simply Food" store in Alton on Tuesday 22nd May, and Thursday 31st May in Petersfield giving customers the chance to win a share of £1000 to spend in-store.

Easter Egg Appeal 2007 (6)This year's Easter Egg Appeal was a great success, with a massive 1000 eggs being donated for the less fortunate children in the Delta FM area. We were in Alton, Bordon, Haslemere, Liphook and Grayshott over the course of the week and had great fun, as the pictures can prove!
